Abstract. Xyloterinus politus Crossed the Atlantic. Xyloterinus politus (Say, 1826) (Col. Curculionidae, Scolytinae), was discovered in Normandy, France, close to the city of Le Havre, in May 2017. Two specimens were caught by window traps and identified with the key published by Wood (1982).
